There are reasons we smile, reasons we cherish memories, and reasons why some feelings never change. There are reasons behind our choices, reasons beneath our anger, and reasons that override logic. There are reasons we can’t sleep, reasons we won’t speak up, reasons we aren’t closer. There are reasons to be scared, to be brave, to reach out or walk away. The reasons sometimes fade from sight, slip through our fingers or trip us up. There’s a reason I wait, a reason I believe, a reason I let go and a reason I hold on when it just isn’t reasonable.
